Dalakan is 25 km southeast of the 1 MM ounce Kalana Gold Mine. In southern Mali (Morila deposit), the control structure is a northeast-trending cross structure within a northwest structural corridor within a turbidite sequence.
In 2002, the Dalakan gold project was acquired in southern Mali by application under the Mining Act of Mali.
Dalakan is 240 km southeast of Bamako and is 25 km southeast of the 1 MM ounce Kalana gold mine (Avnel Gold).
